Although we aim to have children in school, sometimes they cannot attend, or they have to be sent home due to illness. 

We will only contact you to collect your child after they have been seen by a first-aider who advises they are too ill to stay in school. We follow NHS statutory guidance which is detailed below.  Please follow the timescales so that we can keep illness and infection down to a minimum in school. For rashes, we ask you to seek advice from a medical professional so we know it isn't contagious.
