Welcome to Year 1 at Swalwell Primary School! Year 1 is an exciting year where children build on the strong foundations established in Early Years and continue to develop their confidence, independence and love of learning. Through engaging lessons, creative activities and hands-on experiences, we encourage children to explore new ideas, challenge themselves and achieve their very best. We strive to create a happy, supportive and inclusive classroom where every child feels valued and inspired to succeed. We look forward to sharing our learning journey, achievements and memorable experiences with you throughout the year.
