This half term, Year 1 have been exploring beat and pulse through a variety of exciting musical experiences. The children have listened carefully to different pieces of music and practised keeping a steady beat using their bodies, instruments and movement.

They have taken part in a range of fun activities, including clapping, marching, tapping and performing actions in time with the music. It has been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they develop their listening skills, coordination and understanding of rhythm while having lots of musical fun!
