This week in Year 5, we have been working hard on our column addition skills. Before we started, we reminded ourselves about place value using counters and our place value tables to help us understand the value of each digit.

Everyone has shown great perseverance and determination. Although there are lots of steps to remember and some of the calculations can be quite tricky, the children have worked incredibly hard and made fantastic progress. Well done, Year 5!
