Dear Parents/Carers,
I hope this finds you all safe and well. We have received from Northumbria police on county lines. County lines is a term used to describe gangs and organised criminal networks involved in exporting illegal drugs into one or more importing areas within the UK, using dedicated mobile phone lines or other form of “deal line”. They are likely to exploit children and vulnerable adults to move and store the drugs and money. Staff and Governors at Swalwell Primary School are committed to ensuring the safe future of all our children and families. Please take a minute to click the link below and educate yourself on this safeguarding issue.
As ever, if you have any concerns, questions or comments please contact school and a member of the safeguarding team will be more than happy to help in any way we can.
Take Care. Stay Safe
