Many thanks for your support with our systems this morning. As a leadership team we feel it worked well and we were able to smoothly admit the children into school whilst following social distancing guidelines. This worked because you all played your part. Thank you.
I have visited the children in their classrooms. They are all happy, content and looking extremely smart. They have enjoyed sharing some of their lockdown stories with me. The atmosphere in school is wonderful and it is a delight to hear our classrooms and corridors filled with the children’s voices once more.
The staff are sharing a presentation with the children which describes all our routines in school. This will be available for you to look at on the school website. I’m sure your child will describe it to you.
Today’s attendance is 97.3%. A fantastic start.
Our new children are settling into our school and indeed look like they have been with us before!
Our priority is to keep your children and our staff safe and deliver the best education possible. With our hardworking, nurturing staff and wonderful outdoor grounds we are in a great position to achieve this.
I have asked class teachers to place weekly entries onto the school website so we can keep you up to date with what the children are learning.
Once again, many thanks for your support.
Take Care. Stay Safe.
