This is a Community Primary School catering for pupils from 3 – 11 years. At present there are 130 children on the school register and 14 children on the nursery register. This means we have small classes with high staffing ratios to give children the best possible start to their education. We are a mainstream primary school with two ARMS provisions (Additionally Resourced Mainstream School). We have 10 place Physical Disability provision and 8 place ASD. Inclusion a strength of our school.
Prospective parents wishing to view the school are asked to contact the school to arrange an appointment. Admission to the Nursery and School is in accordance with Gateshead LA policy for admissions.

Both policies outline the Over subscription Criteria used for allocating places. Parents may place children on our Nursery or Reception interest list at any time following their child’s birth.
This can be done by contacting the school office giving the child’s name, address and date of birth along with a contact address and telephone number.
Placing your child’s name on this list does not guarantee a place as these can only be offered in line with the Admissions Policies but it will ensure that you are sent the relevant application information at the correct time. Parents who have registered their interest with school will be sent the formal information relating to the Nursery and Reception application process in the September prior to their child starting school. If your contact details change at any time prior to intake, please update them with the school office so we can ensure you receive information.

Nursery admissions are processed by school and parents need to complete the form below and return to school to be added to the waiting list. If you would like more information or to visit school please do not hesitate to get in touch.
