Hello everyone!
This weeks challenge from the School Sports Partnership is focused around Art & Design. #DRAWUNITE is a competition to draw a poster showing how people can be physically active during this time. It may be them walking with family, playing in the garden, dancing, playing football or even bouncing on the trampoline. It can be anything that shows some form of physical activity. In the previous #UNITE projects, the SSP have encouraged schools and children to also incorporate the ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’. These are Connect, Give, Learn, Take Notice and Be Active.
This competition is open to all Gateshead schools and there will be a £20 Amazon voucher for the winner of each key stage. Liz Million -local children’s author and illustrator- will choose the final winner with help from the Gateshead SSP Team. There will be three highly commended entries and they will all win a £10 amazon voucher. The school which engages the most with this project will win a 6 week block of coaching sessions in their school and the school runner up will receive £50 worth of art equipment.
Could you please post your completed entries onto our Facebook page by Monday 6th July.
Below is a link to the promotional poster from the SSP which includes more information. Please do not attach your full name, school or key stage onto our facebook page. I will complete this for you.
Many thanks
