Working together, learning together

Welcome

Early Years Friday 5.6.20

Good morning. Did you all find out lots of interesting facts about frogs yesterday?

In our song we talk about speckled frogs. Speckling is a pattern a little like spots. I wonder what other patterns we can think of? Some animals have patterns – Zebras are stripy, ladybirds have spots and some snakes have almost a zigzag pattern. Can you see any patterns in your house or outside?

Go on a pattern hunt and draw all of the different patterns you can find. You could challenge someone else in your house to see who can find the most patterns in a time limit. Or you could draw the pattern you can see on something and then see if someone in your house can find the object with that pattern.

Have fun!
