We’ve had another busy week in Year 6 taking part in some exciting lessons.
The highlight of the week has been playing some electronic games in DT before beginning to design our own versions.
Our History lesson was about Lord William Armstrong, the Magician of the North, so named because of all of his creations/inventions and his record-breaking home in Northumberland. Why not ask your child to explain some of his inventions and what was so special about his house?
In English, we’ve continued to study our book, “The Island,” this time focusing on describing the setting. Not quite the idyllic, tropical paradise we may imagine…
Have a great weekend and we look forward to having everyone back next week for even more learning fun.
