Good morning all, did you all find lots of objects beginning with p as in pan yesterday?
On Friday this week the whole country is celebrating the anniversary of a very special day. Friday marks the 75th anniversary of VE Day. The first VE Day was on the 8th May 1945 and marked the end of fighting in Europe after 6 years of World War 2. On Friday this will be 75 years ago, which is a long time. I wonder whether you can find out if anyone in your family was alive in 1945, do they have any stories of the first VE day celebrations?
Today why not make some VE day themed crafts. You could make a party hat and decorate it in red, white and blue to represent the colours of the British flag. You could also make some bunting or flags to decorate your house on Friday, remember to make them red, white and blue!
