Year 5 2.10.20
We have had another busy week in Year 5 and have worked very hard.
Our favourite lesson this week was Science. We conducted an investigation to find out which materials were the best for soundproofing. We used a decibel meter to measure the volume of our iPad in decibels while we covered it with different materials. We used our scientific knowledge to make predictions and to make sure our test was fair. Most of our predictions were correct which shows how hard we have been working in our Science lessons this half term!
We also had lots of fun in PE this week learning about interval training. We completed different exercises for 45 seconds each, making sure we gave 100% effort every time. By the end of the lesson, we were all super tired – including Miss Grey!
We have also loved coming to breakfast club this week where we have been able to spend time as a class, play games, practise mindfulness and enjoy a lovely breakfast to set us up for our learning!
