Hi!
Here are your tasks for today.
English: Hope you enjoyed looking at the picture of the invisible man and made some good inferences. Following on from that, look at the picture and read the start of the story below.
Just minutes before, everything had been completely normal. He had sat eating his breakfast at the kitchen table, as he did every day of his life.
It was only when he looked in the mirror that he realised something was wrong. For several seconds he had panicked, and a sick feeling grew in his stomach. His mouth felt dry and he started to sweat as he sprinted from room to room, trying desperately to find a reflection.
How could this have happened? Of all days, why did it have to be today? This was the most important day of his life. He had to find help…
Answer these questions in your Home Learning book. Remember to use the PEE paragraph to help you explain how you know.
What has happened to him?
When did it happen?
How is he feeling about this?
What caused him to finally realise what happened?
Why do you think he is wearing gloves?
Maths: Sort these numbers the table below (click on it to see it full size!) into two groups. One groups of numbers that are in the two times table and numbers that are not. Explain how you knew to sort them.
Once you’ve done that ask someone to time you answering these questions as fast as you can. Can you beat your time from yesterday?
Topic: Watch this video which gives you an introduction to Ancient Egypt.

Think carefully about the River Nile. The River Nile was important in Ancient Egyptian times as it provided food, transport and water for farming. Lots of people lived next to the Nile.
Make a list of advantages (good things) and disadvantages (bad things) of living near the river. Use what you learnt in the video and the website below to help you.
