On Wednesday 23rd January, Year 3 were lucky enough to visit the ISKCON Hindu Temple in Newcastle as part of our RE topic of Hinduism. We were able to take a look around the temple, learn more about the origins and practices of the Hindu faith, try some Indian drumming, dress up in traditional Indian clothing and try some Indian food. We loved our time at the temple and Kirtida, our guide for the day, was great at answering our questions! Miss Bell, Mrs Hall, Mrs Waugh and Miss Longstaff were so impressed with how respectful we were in the temple. We enjoyed ourselves so much that some of us wished we could come back every day.
