Hi Year 3!
Hope you all had a great week off! Here are your learning activities for today.
English: Read these instructions on mummification. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zrcg2sg
Order these instructions by writing them out in your Home Learning book and numbering them and put them in the correct order.
- Finally, put the mask over the face.
- Next put the organs into the canopic jars.
- Then the fill the body with straw.
- First wash the body.
- Once the body has been stitched up, dress the body in linen bandages.
Then watch the video and try following the instructions to mummify an orange! You could take some pictures and share it on the school facebook page!
Spelling: Learn these spellings. Practise counting out the syllables, rainbow writing, pyramid words, playing spelling relay and speed write the words as many times as you can in one minute. What is the spelling pattern?
