Good morning Early Years and welcome to May!
Listen to the story Hide-and-Seek Pig.
Today I would like you to play a game of hide and seek like pig and her friends. Choose an object to hide and then get someone in your house to look for it. However instead of them just searching as normal I want you to describe where you have hidden the object without actually saying where it is. For example if you have hidden something in your bed covers you could say that it is hidden underneath something that keeps you warm at night. Remember to think about using size words, shapes and colours in your description. Perhaps you have hidden something behind a big, rectangular, black object (the telly). Take turns to be the describer and seeker. Reception children for a challenge you could try writing your clues down, or ask your grown up to write their clues for you to read.
