Diwali
We have had such an interesting week in Nursery! We have been learning all about Diwali and why/how it is celebrated in the Hindu community. We watched videos which showed us how it is celebrated and the preparations that lead up to it. After this, we created some rangoli patterns using coloured salt! Some of us even decided to use our outdoor area to make larger rangoli patterns with chalk. We then tasted some delicious, traditional foods that are usually eaten at Diwali celebration.
