Dear Parents/Carers of children working from home,
I hope this letter finds you all safe and well.
Many thanks to those of you who have managed to access Tapestry and share your child’s learning. If you are finding this difficult to access, please contact the school office and a member of staff will try to help you.
As a Mum, I appreciate how difficult it can be to motivate the children into completing work. Home learning is very different to being in the classroom. Therefore, from next week, we will be starting a bit of a competition to help motivate the children.
Every time a child returns a completed piece of work to us – whether on Tapestry or paper packs they will receive a raffle ticket. Each week we will select a raffle ticket from the collection and the winner will receive a prize – book, DVD, game etc. The adult in the home will also receive a little bar of chocolate. We recognise how hard this is on you also so a treat is well deserved!
The children in school will enter their own competition to keep it fair.
Please share this with your child to help keep them motivated. If you are struggling to get your child to complete any work, please call the school office and their teacher or TA will give them a call.
We are happy to help in any way we can.
Take Care. Stay Safe.
