Autumn Exploration
This week in Reception we have been learning all about Autumn. We have talked about what happens during the season of Autumn and then we went for a walk around the school grounds to see what signs of Autumn we could spot. We found lots and lots of beautiful leaves that had fallen off the trees and we made a collection to take back to class. We also found fruits and seeds from the trees. When we went on our walk we all needed to put on our coats and we talked about how the weather begins to feel colder during Autumn.
Back in class we used some of the leaves that we had collected to make leaf prints and leaf rubbings. We also made an Autumn investigation tray with the different things that we had collected.
