Making Miniature Books with Axel Scheffler

KS2 were fortunate to have a video call with the famous illustrator, Axel Scheffler (Gruffalo).

He shared with us some original drawing and paintings that he designed whilst the Gruffalo was being written - 22 years ago!

Then he discussed his love of miniature books and demonstrated how to make one. Year 6 were definitely up for the challenge and immediately became absorbed in creating their own.
