Good Morning Year 3!
Hope you had a lovely weekend and managed to spend some time out in the sunshine. Hope you all had plenty of sun cream on and no one got burned! I forgot and now my shoulders are very pink!
Here are your tasks for today
English: Play Reading Bingo this week and see if you can tick off all of the boxes. Click on it to see full size.
You can also log onto Purple Mash and read Chapter 2 of Alien Hotel and answer the comprehension questions
Spelling: Learn these spellings. Picture, adventure, creature, furniture, departure, mixture.
Can you work out what the pattern is? Practise counting out the syllables, rainbow writing, pyramid words, playing spelling relay and speed write the words as many times as you can in one minute.
Maths: Complete the maths question below.
Art: Follow the link below and read all about mummification during Ancient Egyptian times.

Look at the pictures of the sarcophagus, can you design your own sarcophagus?
You could also build a model of your sarcophagus.
PE: ask an adult to take you for a walk or a jog around the garden or the streets. Remember to stay safe and practise social distancing.
