Week 2 Monday home learning Year 1
Welcome to week 2 of your home learning, I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend.
This week in Maths we will be focusing on mass and weight but don’t forget to keep practising addition and subtraction of Maths shed or Numbots.
Today’s problem is a reasoning problem to discuss with an adult. If you want you could put your answer in the comments below.
For English this week we are going to focus on instruction writing which you are all really good at! Below is a set of instructions for you to read with an adult.

Science – Investigate what plants need to grow well. Where would be the best place to grow your own beanstalk?
Phonics – Practise the two different codes for /oa/
Spellings – Don’t forget I have set you spellings to practise on Spelling Shed. The words are: looked, asked, could, house, friend, called, people, should, would, school.
