Working together, learning together

Year 5 Home Learning 04.05.2020

Good morning Year 5 and May the 4th be with you!
I hope you have all had a lovely weekend and ready for your next week of home learning tasks. Miss Foley and I miss you all so much and can’t wait to see you back in school again soon.

English and Topic- Today I would like us to find out why food had to be rationed during WW2. Here is a link to help you.

Using the information from the website above, can you create a weekly menu for a family of 4 during WW2? Remember that families and communities were encouraged to grow their own fruits and vegetables as well as the food they could purchase with their ration stamps.

Maths- We are going to spend a few days working on your square number knowledge. Remember that you can use Purple Mash to ask for help.

Take care and stay safe.
