Identify the prepositions in the sentences below. Remember a preposition is a word that describes where something is e.g. on, under, behind, in front, over, up above, down below, next to, near by, upon, through…
Behind the trap door, there was lots of shiny gold.
All over the walls there were hieroglyphics.
Sand and dust covered the floor beneath his feet.
From somewhere over in the corner, he heard a creaking sound.
Now write your own sentences using prepositions to describe all of the things that he can see and the sounds that he can hear. Think about when he is in the middle of the pyramid.

Write out the fact families for the 4 times table. E.g. 2 x 4 = 8, 4 x 2 = 8, 8 ÷ 2 = 4, 8 ÷ 4 = 2
