Christmas Arrives in Lower Key Stage 2

We have began to learn all about (and celebrate) Christmas in Lower Key Stage 2! To begin our festivities, as part of our RE lessons, we explored Christmas through our senses. We had the opportunity to even taste some festive treats! After this, we talked about the significance of advent and why it is celebrated in the Christian calendar. We also discussed our own family Christmas traditions and how we all prepare for the celebration of the birth of Jesus.
