Here are your jobs for today.
English: Use the picture of the man and the creature to write the opening and main action of a story. In your opening remember to set the scene and introduce the characters. Try to use expanded noun phrases. In the main action, describe the moment when the person realises that there is something behind them. Think about how they find out, is there a rumbling? Growling? Does a rock bounce across their path? How will they react? Try to include adverbs and speech.
Maths: Complete the counting in 8s spring maze from your Home Learning Pack. Then log onto Math Shed and practise those multiplications! Year 3 are currently in 4th position. Let’s try to move higher up the leader board!
Science: Make a list of different pushes, pulls and twists in your house.
Challenge: Can you find anything in your house where there is friction?
