Working together, learning together

Welcome

Feeling festive!

We have had a week filled with festive fun in key stage 1 this week!

Billy Jingles has continued to leave us festive challenges this week. We have designed him Christmas jumpers, followed his instructions to play games and even found him playing kit-kat jenga!

In English we have been working very hard to learn all about instruction texts, identifying the key features, following instructions and identifying the key bossy verbs! In Maths year 1 have been learning all about shapes and worked very hard to identify the 2D face on a 3D shape to create a repeating pattern on our Christmas tree challenge! Year 2 have been working hard learning about money, counting up amounts and calculating change in our Christmas shop. In D&T we have been creating our very own Christmas stockings!

Friday was Christmas jumper day so we all came into school wearing our most festive jumpers. We all got to enjoy a Christmas lunch before coming into class during the afternoon and watching a virtual pantomime performance of Jack and the Beanstalk.

Well done for all of your hard work Key Stage 1!
