Swalwell School Values!
We begin each week in Swalwell Primary School with an assembly from our Head Teacher, Mrs Hocking.
During a recent assembly, Mrs Hocking set us a challenge! She asked us to consider our 5 school values and create a poem, a poster or a piece of art to represent them.
That every child has:
• The right to learn
• The right to be safe
• The right to be heard
• The right to be happy
• The right to be me
In Year 2, we had lots of brilliant entries and one child then went into continuous provision and created a very special poem independently to represent her feelings. We are very proud to be part of the Swalwell school family in Year 2 and felt that this fantastic poem summed that up perfectly!
