Year 6 have thoroughly enjoyed exploring Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare, this half term. Whilst trying to incorporate some of the Shakespearean language into their work, they have completed a story board, a narrative, a diary entry – from the Montague or Capulet parents, a persuasive letter and have written an alternative ending (a joyful one) to the tragic love story. Today year 6 will be finishing this topic, by writing a play-script of an extract from their alternative ending to Romeo and Juliet.
