Hope you all enjoyed your first day of home learning and are ready to work hard again today!
English: Last week, we wrote stories about Humpty Dumpty’s life after his fall. Today I would like you think about what Humpty’s life was like before the fall and write either a character description or story about what his life was like. Think about what type of person he was, what he enjoyed doing, his first ever climb up the wall, his friends and family and any other things you think he might have got up to before his accident. See if you can include some of the synonyms we found for emotions words!
Maths: Find 5 tins or packets of food in the house, read the label to find out how much each item weighs. Can you order them from heaviest to lightest?
Topic: Research one mountain and write 5 facts about it. If you want, create a model of a mountain using using junk modelling materials you find in your house. Remember to ask an adult first!
