Good Morning everyone! I hope you enjoyed writing your poems yesterday.
Here is your work for today:
English – Look out of your window. Look up to the sky, down to the ground and all around. What can you see? What might you be able to hear? Write 4 similes to describe the view out of your window.
Here are my examples: grass dancing like a ballerina, birds singing like a choir, trees as tall as skyscrapers, flowers as colourful as a rainbow.
You could also draw a picture of your view if you wanted.
Maths –
Can you make your own decimals using 9 counters?
Science – Last week, we started to learn about solids, liquids and gases or States of Matter. Look at the poster to remind yourself how the different states of matter behave. Make a list of solids, liquids and gases – can you think of 5 of each?
Have a great day everyone!
Miss Grey
