It is with great pride that I welcome you to our school website. I hope this gives you a flavour of life in our inclusive and successful school.
It is our vision and core belief that every child has the right to become the best they possibly can be. The children in our school are the future generation; it is a privilege to shape the future lives of our youngsters and instil in them the determination, resilience, and self-belief needed to enable them to become lifelong learners.
In May 2023, this was recognised by OFSTED during their school inpsection:
Pupils thrive at Swalwell Primary School. Every decision that is made in the school is underpinned by the school's values, specifically that pupils have 'the right to learn, to be safe, to be heard, to be happy, and to be me'. Staff are relentless in their work to ensure that these values apply equally to all pupils, irrespective of the barriers they may face in life."
The school is at the heart of the community and aims to provide a safe, caring and respectful environment which enables pupils to develop academically, emotionally, physically, socially and spiritually whilst promoting fundamental British values. We provide a broad and engaging curriculum which allows individuals to develop their educational potential and skills for life.
At Swalwell Primary School we aim to create a happy and inclusive learning environment where we work hard and make lasting friendships.
I encourage you to look through our website and welcome you to contact me should you require any more information or a look around our unique school. I am confident you will be overwhelmed by our dedicated staff team, supportive governing body and respectful, happy children.
