Hi Year 5!
I hope that none of you are planning to pull any pranks on your families today!
Here are your home learning tasks for today.
English- look back at the reports you wrote yesterday. Mark your own work to see if you have included the features we have practised throughout our time in Year 5. Look for adverbials, relative clauses and subordinate clauses. Can you find any other features in your work? Can you now try and include the features you hadn’t used yesterday?
Maths- use your column subtraction skills to solve the below calculations.
Art- draw a picture to put up in your house that makes you and your family smile. Include lots of bright colours and things that make you happy.
Extra task- can you find out when we started to celebrate April Fools Day and why we celebrate it?
