This week Year 1 and 2 visited South Shields beach as part of their history topic. The children have been studying the comparisons in seaside holidays from the past to those we go on now. The children enjoyed carrying out activities that families would have engaged in in the past such as Punch and Judy puppet shows and making sandcastles as well as games we would play now like rounders. Everyone had a brilliant day and made lots of excellent comparisons. Well done Year 1 and 2!
