Outside Learning
Early Years have been having lots of fun outside this week, despite the weather. Yesterday we spent time hunting for bugs after finding a snail in a watering can. We looked at the shape of its shell and came up with ideas about how it can move when it hasn’t got any feet. We chatted about different habitats and why some lived in the soil and some under logs.
Today we we have been working on our writing using chalk. Some of us chose to write a shopping list, doing a great job of sounding out our words, we practised writing our own names and some of us drew pictures of the bugs that we found on our bug hunt yesterday.
