Scientific Enquiry
This week in Year 3, we have spent time using the iPads to research some facts as part of our scientific enquiry. We discovered that sometimes we cannot answer our questions through experimentation alone, so therefore we must use secondary sources to answer our questions. We also learnt about the meaning of 'validity' and the importance of checking our facts. From this, we then made posters including our newly discovered facts about recycling.
I wonder if any children could explain the meaning of the word 'validity' to their adult? Could you even explain what a secondary source is?
