Champions of Love
Year 6 became ‘Champions of love’ today after visiting Abbeymoor Neurological Care Centre. They entertained the staff and residents with a number of songs including “Count on Me”, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” and “We will Rock You, ” before mingling and chatting to the residents.
The residents then presented each child with a heart medallion to show that they were Champions of Love and a beautiful card drawn and painted by a resident. This card is currently taking pride of place on our Wow Wall in the school entrance hall.
We had a lovely afternoon and can’t wait to go back soon.
