Pancakes and World Book Day
Reception have had a super busy first week back after the half term holiday. Our book this week has been Mr Wolf's Pancakes. We were all very keen to help Mr Wolf by writing him instructions on how to make pancakes. Of course before we could write the instructions we had to actually make some pancakes. We all had a go at adding and mixing the ingredients but left the flipping of the pancakes to the Mrs Cunningham and Mrs Hall as the pan was very hot. The finished pancakes were delicious!
We have also been busy celebrating World Book Day. We all love stories in Reception and were very excited to visit Whickham library to choose some books and listen to some stories before spending World Book Day dressed as our favourite characters.
