Working together, learning together

Welcome

Raising money for charity!

This week, we watched a special Remembrance Day service and participated in a 2 minute silence to remember all those who have fought and died in war. We learnt about why we celebrate Remembrance Day on the 11th of November and why Poppy’s are worn as a symbol of remembrance. We then designed and created our own Remembrance crosses to show our respect.

Also this week, we enjoyed raising some money for Children in Need by coming to school in non-uniform. We learnt about what Children in Need does and watched videos of children who have been supported by the charity. We then created our own unique Pudsey Bear designs.

Well done for a wonderful week Key Stage 1!
