Happy Monday Year 1! I hope you all had a lovely bank holiday weekend.
Phonics – This week we are going to be focusing on the different codes for /ee/ as in eel. We already know /ea/ as in eat and today’s code is /ey/ as in donkey. What words can you find that have the /ey/ code? Where do we find that code? Remember you can practise using Book 25 on https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/

What story was the crocodile in?
What did the duckling draw on the crocodile?
Do you think the duckling was scared at all?
Where do you think the crocodile will go next?
Maths – Last week we looked at telling the time. I would like you to carry on practising this but I would also like you to start trying to use a calendar. Try the questions below. Do you have a calendar in your house? What does it have on it?
Music – I have set you a 2do on PurpleMash where I would like you to make your own song using 2beat. Practise putting the instruments in different places. Which is your favourite instrument?
PE – You may have seen #DanceUnite on our Facebook page. This is because the dance festival was cancelled.
