Keeping a beat
In Year 1 we have spent the past 3 weeks in music learning how to keep a steady beat. Today we put together the songs we have learnt with instruments to play a piece altogether. We all had the opportunity to play the claves, the tamnbourine and the hand drum keeping a beat of 8. We then explored getting faster and slower with classical piece ‘In the hall of the mountain king’.
