Exploring 2D and 3D shapes
This week Year 1 have been exploring how we can use the flat faces of 3D shapes to print 2D shapes. Year 1 used paint and the 3D shapes to see what they could find out. They discovered that a cube can print a square, a cuboid can print a rectangle and the base of a cone can print a circle. However, a sphere does not have a flat face so it cannot print any 2D shapes.
